Baltimore & Philly Trips

Other trips we took with Sophie this summer included Philadelphia and Baltimore.  Here is just some of the fun we had.

Trip to NYC with Sophie

This August we had the pleasure of hosting a young lady from Belgium, Sophie.  She was here for almost 3 weeks.  Here are some shots of our trip to the Big Apple, New York City.

One of the things we did was a twilight cruise on the Hudson River, around Manhattan and back.  It was awesome!

Outside at Rockefeller Plaza...we had just done the NBC Studios Tour, and had lunch at TGI Friday's.  When this shot was taken, we were waiting for John to pick us up.

VBS - Jungle Nites in the Park

This year our church held VBS at a local park. The theme was Jungle Nites in the Park. Joceline was a helper (as was I) and Alyssa was one of the kids participating. We did have rain on Tuesday night, so some of these shots were from under the pavilion that night.

Knoebel's Trip

So we took another trip to Knoebel's this year. The picture above is the Phoenix Roller Coaster that Jasmine absolutely LOVED riding. She went on it about 10 times!

Another popular ride for the girls is the antique cars....and the bumper boats!

Alyssa especially loved the carosel!
