And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

The Big Snows

So February has brought us record snowfall 2 times, and back to back at that! Here are some shots of the girls attempting to play in the snow. It was so deep they could hardly walk!

Richter LOVES bounding through the snow, but even this was almost too deep for him~!

Here are the girls on the eve of the 2nd big snow on 2/10.

Would you like a seat, sir??

Joceline is the tall one on the right, Jasmine is in the red coat and Alyssa is sitting in the snow, so you can only see half of her.

Joceline's DARE Graduation

Today was Joceline's DARE graduation. They were involved in a 10 week course taught by local Detective Dirk Boughter. All students received 2 diplomas, one from State Senator John Rafferty's office and one from Det. Boughter. All students also wrote an essay about what they learned over the 10 weeks. While Joceline did not win for her essay, all the essays were excellent per Det. Boughter.

Vacation at Split Rock Resort

A new addition to Split Rock Resort is the fully indoor water park, H2Ooooohhhh. Here are Joceline & Alyssa in the wave pool.

Joceline in the surf rider.

Prince Charming!

After the raft tubing ride...they LOVED this ride and went on it about 10 times!

Alyssa & Jasmine! Need I say more???

On New Year's Eve we went to Big Boulder for some snow tubing!

Waiting to get started...we were a little early for our time slot, so we watched and got in the mood!

This shot was right after our last run. We hooked all 4 tubes together and went down as a group...the girls had an awesome time.

Here's a shot of Jasmine I took while we were hooked together going down the hill.

John & Alyssa after their first run...

Christmas Eve at Aunt Linda & Uncle Shane's

Christmas Eve this year was held at Aunt Linda & Uncle Shane's house. The big plus to their house...the big hill for sledding, thanks to the wonderful snow God sent our way!

Jasmine on her way down the hill.

Alyssa, Jasmine, Zach & Tyler getting ready to head back up the hill.

More & more sledding...

Alyssa is ready for more!

Alyssa & Zach...best buds inside & outside!
And then the fun of playing, eating, reading the Christmas Story, and exchanging gifts.

Alyssa, Leah, Eva & Jarod.
Grandma & Grandaddy with their Angels...only Danielle was missing and our thoughts were with her & Nady as well.

The display from the Christmas Story that Aunt Karla & Uncle Michael brought. Those who wanted to read the Christmas Story and opened boxes. Our best gift to God...ourselves!

Craft Day with Santa

On December 5th, Boyertown Junior High West hosted Craft Day with Santa. There were lots of activities for the girls to do, plus free pictures with Santa.
Here they are working on the picture frames for their pictures with Santa.

Making candy canes out of pipe cleaners.

The ever-popular face and hand painting.

Jasmine got a cat...of course!

Alyssa also had a peace sign on her other cheek.

Party Time!!

On November 15th, we celebrated Jasmine & Alyssa's 8th birthday with a party at Silvia's Gymnastics. All their cousins came as well as some friends from school and church. Here are about 20 shots from the party in no particular order (thanks to Blogger).
Jasmine LOVES snow globes!!

The big trampoline was very popluar!

Alyssa LOVES Style Savvy! As do Joceline & Jasmine!

Aunt Linda with her "baby" and with the family "baby", Leah.

After the big trampoline, they jumped into the foam pit to throw blocks at each other, and then sing Happy Birthday to Jasmine & Alyssa.

Here's Zachy crossing the one balance beam...on his next time on it, he was up on his feet with no help!

Lots of fun with the uneven bars.

Jarod on the rope swing...another popular item!!

Eva had a great time and did everything the bigger kids did!

Leah on her first try at hopscotch!!

I don't think the rings were one of Zach's favorites, but he tried anyway and had a good time.

Jasmine on the uneven bars.

Alyssa on the tumble track (lots of fun!).

Joceline helped with Leah while Karla was helping Eva.

This shot was actually at the very beginning when they were warming up.

This particular piece of equipment is the tumble track...all the kids loved starting here!

As you can see, they were very active at this party and as far as I could tell, all the kids had a great time. Thanks to everyone who came out and thanks for the presents, too!
